Are you giving your business enough space for it to flourish?

Have you ever pushed so hard at your business that you feel so overwhelmed to do anything else? Feel like throwing in the towel because you’re just so sick of putting in the effort? Or maybe you over analyze every decision that you make only to change course before you can actually see results. Girl, I hear you. It’s hard to be a do’er and an entrepreneur because we feel like we always have to be taking action in business. You were likely taught that hard work pays off and to a certain extent it does, but so does patience. You need to let and allow your business to grow and evolve and fully see through the strategies that you’re working on before throwing in the towel.

I once read somewhere that for things to really manifest in your life you only need to do 50% of the actual work. That seems odd, right? Wouldn’t you need to do 100% of it? Well, love, the key to having a successful business is to allow for that other 50% to happen via the energies, synchronicities and flow of the universe. You can get on a sales call and really communicate the value of your offer to someone else, but they also have to do their part and make the decision to invest in whatever you’re offering. That part has literally nothing to do with you. You cannot force anyone to purchase your products or your 1:1 services, and anything that you try to do in that direction will likely leave you burnt out and overwhelmed.

Give your clients space and time to make their own decisions. Give your strategies the time and positive energies they need to bring you a profit. When we focus too much on HOW things are going to work, we place way too much pressure on ourselves and on our businesses. Instead, try focusing on what is in your control, take the action, but allow the rest to unfold. Your business might not look exactly like what you put on your business planner at the beginning of this year and that’s OK.

Whenever you feel like you’re doing too much in your business take a deep breath and say I surrender, I surrender to the process, I surrender to control and I surrender to the things I cannot change.

One of the biggest revelations that I’ve ever had in business is that I don’t actually get to control all of the outcomes. It’s unfortunate, isn’t it? But what I do get to control is the energy I bring to the table, my actions and my mindset.
